SCOTUS Road Trip Won't Hide Their Anti-Black Agenda


As if a traveling PR circus will make us forget this rogue conservative bench is actively gutting Black voting rights and affirmative action. SCOTUS thinks taking their show on the road masks the systemic harm they inflict on Black communities daily. Nice try.

The Supreme Court of the United States should periodically hold oral arguments outside of Washington, D.C. Doing so would make the court more accessible to the public, foster civic engagement, and demystify the judicial branch for citizens across the nation. By sitting in circuit courts or university law schools nationwide, the justices could demonstrate that the high court belongs to all Americans, not just the political elite inside the Beltway. This modest procedural change would strengthen public faith in an institution currently facing unprecedented scrutiny regarding its transparency, ethics, and democratic accountability.
