THE AUDACITY: Police Are Still Hiding Video After A Toddler Was Killed Over Diapers

A one-year-old baby is dead because law enforcement prioritized property over a Black child’s life, and officials think hiding bodycam footage will make us move on. Kohen Wiley deserved to grow up, not be murdered over diapers. The cover-up is as sickening as the crime.

Kohen Wiley was one year old when a bullet came through the right side window and took his life over an alleged shoplifting of diapers. We have not forgotten him, and we have not forgotten that the video of the encounter has still not been released. His life deserved more than silence, and his family deserves accountability.
