They are very performative. They like to put on a show for their base while doing absolutely nothing to actually govern or help everyday working people. And let us be completely honest about what we are dealing with in Washington right now: half the Senate is already dead anyway, so expecting them to move with any real sense of urgency or modern understanding is nothing more than a pipe dream for the American public.
